6. that's was repuke op Bill Schneider not Lou Dobbs
He constantly has these "polls" that imply the Repuke propaganda line.

I don't believe they are executing these polls unbiased from the history of these reports from this guy.

16. open border people
call anybody who bring attention to the undercutting of labor
plus national security issues on the border a racist.

Lou did screw up a couple of times this week, but look at his overall
positions plus his guests.

Truly he has done and is doing a huge service to the middle class
in reporting the constant selling of America down the river
and he's about the only journalist who does it.

I'm sorry but there are a bunch of true racist hate groups and so forth out there, but Lou Dobbs just isn't one.

That's the problem with this issue, especially illegal aliens,
there are two camps raising it: the true racist and then the majority
who know it's undercutting minimum wage laws, burdening social safety nets designed for citizens, yet another avenue for cheap labor by corporations and so forth.

I wish those damn racist white supremacists who have attached themselves
to this issue for their own agenda would go fuck off but the problem is the open border idiots try to mix the issues together, which is not valid.

19. Lew Dobbs is a racist who thought looting was more important than
saving lives. That racist Tancredo is now trying to funnel funds from Louisiana to private industry.

Lou Dobbs cares as much about Mexicans as Bush cares about black people.

Scapegoating Mexicans while ignoring the rich white men that have turned America into a third world country IS racist.

14. Here's a link
What you got on TV was only part of the story...

NEW YORK A CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released this morning shows that the country very divided over who is primarily to blame for the poor emergency response to the hurricane castastrophe on the Gulf Coast.

Despite much criticism directed at the White House and federal government in the past week, President Bush seems to be maintaining much of his core support.

While 42% of respondents characterized Bush's response to the disaster as bad or terrible, 35% said it was good or great. Federal agencies got exactly the same marks. State and local officials fared only a little better--their response was described as bad or terrible by 35% and good or great by 37%.

Again, the views were strongly based on partisan leanings, with Republicans giving the president good grades on this issue by a 69% to 10% margin, while Democrats' views were precisely the opposite. But independents gave Bush a thumbs down by 47% to 29%.

15. my letter/email to Dobbs....
I had become more of a fan of the media in the last few days. It seemed that the corporate backing and influence of CNN might have washed away to allow for real reporting and real facts for a change.

But alas, Bill Schneider appeared on your show, telling of Gallop numbers that just cannot be true. In fact the numbers seemed so incredibly off it is hard to not believe that are just latest White House spin facts, that a corporate media would put up to defend the Bush administration.

13% blame the president?
I don't think so. Maybe Bill needs to spend some time out in the public rather than his box.

Pushing facts that are so obviously false, without even one question from you, isnt reporting, its towing the line, and it sickens me, that some of you, call yourself journalists. You didnt even raise an eyebrow.

WE ALL BLAME BUSH.

17. There were 609 people polled...
609 people out of 290 million... hmmm.... sounds like a real poll to me...

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/07/katrina.poll/
"Fifty-six percent of 609 adults polled by telephone September 5-6 said..."

This is a bullshit poll.

18. it was a stupid poll
this is sampling bias at it's finest. they asked conflicting questions like is Bush responsible? One question cuts the mustard in my opinion, and that's the 42% who rated Bush's response as poor or terrible.

i'll wait till Zogby and American Research Group come out with some polls before I start to make assumptions. Both the ABC News poll and the Gallup Poll are really flawed.
