Why not John Conyers for President?

Conyers walks the walk while others just talk. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. Has he any interest in running?

Asked Gore not to run in 2004...
And then punked Dean in 2004?

Conyers would never stand a chance against them.

But, I think he would be a wonderful President. I also, very sadly, agree that he would be a prime target for assassination given the rise of White Supremacy on the Right these days.

But, I don't think he'd win in the first place.

I adore John Conyers, but do you think he'd pick up the two or three red states we need to flip to win? Not likely, sadly.

upon millions of 'Murkans wouldn't because he's not only a "Nigra",
he's a "damned uppity one!"
