Presidential Prayer Team's prayers for Bush as he "manages and responds."

http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/

As President Bush manages and responds to the many crises brought by Hurricane Katrina, pray for strength and profound wisdom from God. Give thanks for the $10.5 billion appropriated, and pray for adequate funds for the next phase of relief. Pray for the members of his cabinet to seek and have God's wisdom in all they do.

Pray for the President as he seeks unprecedented cooperation between federal, state and local agencies to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, asking God to empower the spirit of compassion and teamwork that has always characterized our nation. Pray that the problems that still need to be solved will indeed be solved with the best possible solutions and that a spirit of unity and mutual servanthood will prevail.

Pray for the President as he now considers an additional nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, asking God to lead him clearly as he considers all candidates. Pray for the President as he meets with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani at the White House on September 13. The two leaders will discuss the war on terrorism, the progress of Iraq in building democracy, the Iraqi constitution and upcoming referendums and elections.

Pray for the President as he travels to New York September 13-14 to participate in the 60th United Nations General Assembly. The President will host a private reception for leaders on September 13 and will address the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on September 14. He will also participate in a Security Council Summit; and will meet with Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Ambassador Jan Eliasson, who assumes the presidency of the General Assembly this month, to discuss a range of issues.

Just roll back the tax cuts Bush lavished on the wealthy, and their prayers will be answered! What a bunch of hypocrites.

5. Not one prayer for the people of New Orleans?
They can go to hell. There's a special ring for religious hypocrites.

10. Are you exhorting the Reverend Gannon and Sister Mary
to tear themselves away from the White House prayer breakfasts they lead, for such exercises in "off-the-wall" contortionism?

12. I pray that this incompetent, destructive pResident doesn't get any more
killed, whether by design or negligence. And I pray every day when I check the blogs that I won't see another long list of outrages of the bush misadministration--but I'm dreaming.
