How prescient was NBC's David Gregory? Remember him and Scotty

sparring over whether or not idiot son still had confidence in him? When was that? Day before yesterday? There was a link to it here, but with Defcon 5 being in effect, I can't search for it.

Anyway .... did Gregory nail this shit or what?

Wonder how Scotty's gunna answer the follow up from Gregory?

Oh ... that's right .... today's Friday and Scotty's already done the gaggle du jour. They'll be on to other shit come Monday.

And the Administration (true for every administration, of course) will "throw out the trash" today as close to 5:30 PM as possible to avoid the news cycle.

NBC tends to not air any of the "trash" because we have been trying to pander to Bush but with Katrina, the "story" seems to have changed. This means the Administration may wait until as close to 6:00 PM as possible.

Gregory will do a live standup shortly after 6:30 PM and may do a "tell" about any really greasy "trash" items. This is to say they won't be in his news piece but he will talk about them as they relate to what he has done for the day.
