Ahh...another day of misinformation and fear on AM radio
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 03:30 PM by Roland99
Medved said the removal of Brown from Hurricane Katrina duties was a "gruesome" development.

The only thing "gruesome" is Medved's apologetic stance (trying to defend backing Saddam in the 80s in a conversation with Ron Reagan.)

Hannity has Newt on and Newt was saying it would be nice if the President had the ability to override a Governor and send in military to assist in disaster recovery.

Thing is, Newt, he ALREADY DOES HAVE THE CAPABILITY! The National Response Plan allows for just that thing and it doesn't violate Posse Comitatus.

Morans.

1. Ah, AM radio - home of Garlique ads and the Sleep Number bed ad!
Yes, I listen to AAR when I am in the car, but have to say that the snake oil ad/content ratio of AM radio must be eye opening. Really too much to endure - that and all of the hate, fear, stupidity and ignorance from the righties.

2. Curious choice of words, all things considered.
I think, you know, at some level he must know what's *actually* gruesome here--the flood of horrific images and stories out of poor, devastated NOLA. He shoves that into a far far recess of his shuttered little mind so that he can get on with the spin, but you know, the unconscious, she has a way of blurting out the truth...
