"weak...dangerous....inarticulate...liar"
From the Hardball show, Frank Luntz, the Repub Shill, was asking a focus group that had voted for John Kerry for one word to describe George W Bush. Luntz went down the line and those were the responses. Chris Matthews sit momentarily in silence or shock when the camera came back on him, as if he could not understand why they would feel that way about Bush...

2. Wow
I'm not shocked the adjectives, just that Luntz would even report them.

9. Hit the nail on the head!
People have been saying those things all along but people like Chris Matthews and Frank Luntz have been too busy shilling for Bush to listen.

I remember how Chris Matthews just about wet himself over Bush in that jumpsuit saying "Misshun Accomplished."

And Luntz's little focus groups are usually stacked in favor W.

3. Yes!
All we have to do is win just enough to overcome the inevitable election fraud. Enough people are starting to hate it, so it just might be possible.

7. Chris Matthews is a Dean supporter because of the war.
I think his look of shock comes also from the fact that the right half of the room was Kerry supporters. Dean may pull off a win there. Who knows. But Matthews is just angry about the whole thing. He looks depressed. He said on Imus that the race sucks now that Dean is not the front runner.

10. Just Wondering.
I'm not sure why this is surprising. What would one expect people who aren't going to vote for Bush to say?

I also have a hard time believing that Matthews didn't vote for Gore last election, so why would he care what people said about Bush?

Of course, his show gets absolutely no viewers worth mentioning, so it doesn't really matter.
