I noticed the letter was from Springfield MO, home of Ashcroft, Blount, and huge megachurches. But there's an active peace movement there as well, so don't think everyone thinks the way this woman does.

I can understand how hard it is to hear the criticism of your husband-----please know that other wives of powerful "corporate", "political", husbands know how you must feel hearing all the stories and allegaations thrown out about what has happened in the past two weeks. I really wish that you were a member of my "book club" where we can talk about all that is happening in our lives with our husbands being hit with pressure from all sides. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers while you deal with critical people from all walks of life. We are all women who have excelled in what we do yet feel everything that our husbands also must go through. Know that we are thinking and praying for both of you!!!!
