Brown and Allbaugh - unusually close friends?
I mean, come on. He's really pulled a lot of strings to get someone - who he MUST have known is incompetent - into quite a plum job. Out of all the people Allbaugh knows, out of all the people Bush could have given that job to (so many toadies, so few boondoggle jobs), it must have taken quite a lot of persuasion for Allbaugh to get Bush to appoint Brown, right?

I'm just sayin'.

1. Maybe Brown had pictures of Allbaugh, Dick and Laura in a 3 way.

2. They were roommates in college
and they worked on * campaigns. That seems to be all the qualifications that are required. Every job is a pay back.
Bolton and Roberts got counting stopped in Florida, 2000.
