Get outta dodge. Is it time to invoke the 25th?
You be the judge. Here is my unofficial transcript of the NPR audio report that includes several incoherent rambling statements from the demented Mr. Bush. I'm afraid this will go down the memory hole, so here is the link:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4843134

And here is my transcript of our leader demonstrating that he needs to be removed from office by reason of mental incapacity.

Bush: I know that theres been a lot of second guessing. I can assure I'm not interested in that. What I'm interested in is solving problems and there will be times when we need to take a step back and take a sober look at what went right and what didn't go right. Uh, there's a lot of information floating around that will be analyzed in an objective way, and uh that's important, its important for the people of this country to understand that all of us want to learn a lesson. And if there were to be a, uh, biologicial attack of some kind we got to make sure we understand the lessons learned to be able to deal with catastrophe.

Asked about his comment that nobody could anticipate that the levees could be breached.

Bush: What I was referring to was this. When that storm came by a lot of people said we dodged a bullet. When that storm came through at first people said "whew" and there's a sense of relaxation and thats what I was referring to and I myself thought we had dodged a bullet. You know why? 'cause I was listening to people, uh probably over the airwaves, say 'the bullet has been dodged' and that is what I was referring to. Of course there were plans in case the levee had been breached. There was a sense of relaxation at the moment, at a critical moment, and uh, thank you for giving me a chance to clarify that.

Asked to pinpoint the moment when he realized how severe the storm was.

Bush: I knew a big storm was coming, uh, on Monday. That's why I spoke to the country on Monday morning about it I said 'there's a big storm coming'. I had pre-signed an emergency declarations in anticipation of a big storm coming. Which by the way is extraordinary. Most emergencies the president signs after the storm has hit. Its a rare occaision for the president to anticipate the severity of the storm and sign the documentation prior to the storm. See we anticipated a serious storm. But as the man's question said and basically implied you know wasn't there a moment where everyone said 'well gosh we dodged a bullet' and yet the bullet hadn't been dodged.

The reporter at this point notes that scotty 'clarified' the presidents remarks later that afternoon by replacing Monday with Sunday.

Bush should simply go back to Crawford and stay there. Its over. He has lost it.

1. My god, he's a cretin.
Honestly, he is. I've never ever heard such stupid comments in my life - except the other times he opened his monkeylike piehole.

5. Indeed. Adled is the word.
The audio is far worse than my transcript. The guy is both deranged and a liar. He obviously got prepped on the 'dodge the bullet' meme and the "moment of relaxation" meme, but he really doesn't even understand them. I find really disturbing his musings on biological attacks, his use of the phrase 'information floating around' - somehow this seems to invoke the bloated dead of New Orleans - and his statement that we should 'take a sober look' later. What is he telling us about perceived threats, about the images that are haunting him, and about his mental condition?

3. You know what would be fun?
If, on one day, all the ballsy newscasters had a Bush Day. They could all report the news in his manner, with lots of incoherent babbling and filler. Lots of twisted platitudes and gibberish. And whenever they would be challenged by guests, they could repeat the same Rainman mantra of the day. A brand-new Blame Game type phrase.

How would O'Reilly, Limbaugh, and the rest react to it?

It would be such savage amusement.

7. Okay folks, is it time to be NICE to Bush supporters? Gently tell...
...them, sorry, I'm sure you realize Bush and his kind just aren't going to work out. Time to give it up...he's not bringing anything positive your way.
