GREAT ARTICLE PLEASE READ ! Bush Quit His Job BY W. LEON SMITH
Those who have worked for any of my small companies know it is a dangerous proposition to not show up for work, to ignore an assignment.

My employees know that I will probably replace them, immediately. It’s happened before.

This is what they have been told:

“If you don’t show up to do what you are supposed to do, I naturally assume that you’ve quit. The job has to be done.
It’s your duty to do it. If it doesn’t get done, then you’ve quit the job and I will replace you with someone who will do the job.
It is the task that is important, not you.
The task to be completed is why you have the job. It is not simply to give you employment.”

5. I have said..if I bungled MY job as badly as bush** has his I would be
fired. If I make an occasional small mistake okay, but my JOB is keeping the books. I am allowed a mistake now and again, but if, when the auditor comes in, and finds that the books are COMPLETELY out of balance and it caused the company to LOSE money...I AM OUT OF A JOB...I cannot say..hey...wait just a minute...lets not play the blame game here..fuck that...it is my JOB...I would be fired...even though NO ONE DIED because I bungled my job...:grr:
