dyall think his poll numbers will rise? Could Americans POSSIBLY be so stupid?

Well I am hoping for his ratings to go down into the 20% range because of this. But I've been hoping for that for 5 years.

Because taking responsibility is only the first step. There are many things that need to be corrected. Bush won't go there.

Bush's handlers are just doing this out of desperation. They know the living shit has hit the fan. It's kinda like throwing in all your furniture into the fireplace to keep warm.

Acts of desperation, nothing more.

And he didn't appear that sincere when he said it.

But what the repubs will gain from this is that by taking "responsibility" they can say the the federal gov't needs to be dismantled even more, because obviously they can't do their job.
