What happened to the ridiculous Flag Desecration Amendment?
I know it passed in the House back in June, and that it would go the Senate. Haven't heard anything about it since. Can anyone fill me in?

1. Don't know, but probably holding it in abeyance. . .
until the 2006 election season, when it can be used to best effect.

2. They sent some guy to dredge up the cross garden in Cindy Sheehan's camp
and many flags were ground into the dirt.

Can't proscecute a patriot, can they?

It figures they'd turn this complete non-issue into a vote-baiter. If they wait until next year, do they have to approve it again in the House or go directly to the Senate?

5. FBI* arrests former hurrican katrina for US flag desecrating during
her march across the gulf coast several weeks ago.
CNN provdided visual evidence of flags being abused. President Bush announced mission accomplished.
