NEWS FLASH: This is only ONE primary!
Yes, that's right, this is only one primary, it does not decide who the nominee will be, despite the media's insistence to the contrary - and, no, I'm not saying that there is a media conspiracy to support Kerry, either. They just want to be the ones who call the election, so they can look good and puff up ratings.

Besides, those of us in states like Indiana, who have a while before WE get to actually vote, would actually like a chance to voice our opinion before all is decided.

2. Those of us in Illinois would appreciate it too
March 16th is the date. We're a SOLID BLUE state as well. The repubs are so beaten down, they can barely run for dog catcher. :)

8. So do I
I just get sick of everyone buying into the media hype that New Hampshire and Super Tuesday decide everything. I've yet to have a primary vote actually mean anything, and I'd like this time to be the time that it happens.

10. Why?
Because it's first? Exactly why does that make it more important? Are voters in New Hampshire more important than the rest of us slobs, or what?

9. Got that right
Dean is only 20,000 votes ahead of Clark and in his own neighborhood, at that.

I don't get to vote until March and my metropolitan area has more voters that all of NH.

Not that it will matter much. It never does.

11. My gut still tells me
that in the big, long term picture Dean will change this country more than Kerry, even if Kerry becomes president. In fact, the more I think about it, the next few years will be incredibly difficult cleaning up after the bush cartel mess. And there will be a scapegoat required for all those non-thinking crowd followers that blow with the wind, that think the president can solve all problems in just a couple of years. In my opinion, it might be better if Kerry is on the firing line while the good doctor continues to roll up his sleeves and work for change without so much of the limelight. We just need to continue to support Howard so his message can continue to be heard. That in itself is success. Think long term - thats what tricky dick did.

12. I think he already has
If nothing else, his use of the internet to mobilize a campaign has changed things, I think for the better.
