When Will Bush Be Impeached? When O' When?
Briefly, It seems to me that as a result of the hurricane, which tragically effected the lives of many noble citizens, there is another aftermath unraveling before our very eyes.

This other "aftermath" seems to be applying pressure and much suffering to people who are much deserving to these effects. Yet any sense of finality or closure has been seen to date.

Before god, nature, or whatever, decided to expose our President, his cronies, and his benefactors for the lousy people they truly are, those of us who were in opposition scrambled to adhere to any tiny thread or speculation of Bush and Cheney corruption. Today, the hurricane has blown vast acres of cover once enjoyed by these despicable men and their horrid institutions; yet they still hold their lines.

Honestly, I can't figure out why this is. So, let us recap what we have learned to be true since August 30 and get our ducks in a row:

1. Brown and Chertoff were grossly unqualified for their positions and were hired as political payback.

2. President Bush surrounds himself with "yes men," who fear to no end the repercussions of speaking outside of what the President wants to hear.

3. Karl Rove was ill and could not spread any lies.

4. The President tried to lie without Rove's help.

5. Various "common man" populated work and recovery sites were staged to put the President in a better light. (failed!)

6. Price gouging began and continue unabated (Oil companies are the original instigators)

7. Ken "douche-bag" Mehlman tried to push the estate tax vote forward in spite of the instant effect it would have on the poor.

8. The President has diligently fought to usurp the nation's rightful demand for an independent investigation. Further, appoints sympathetic crony to head up "Cabinet Level Inquiry."

9. It is discovered that Mike Brown may have defrauded FEMA of millions of dollars in insurance money to bribe Floridians to vote for Bush.

10. Jeb "crazy rod" Bush's son is not in Iraq. Rather, he is in jail for being a spoiled nephew of a corrupt man.

As you can see, these are off the top of my head and there is so much more being exposed every day. And so, I say to all of you now that we must begin to pursue the impeachment process on this President. We no longer need to search for crimes and misdemeanors, they are all over the place.

So, Lets go!

2. Never. Take it from a Reagan survivor
learn to live with outrage. Bush will die a hero.

(Yes, I hope I'm wrong.)

4. We need to force the Congress to impeach George W. Bush. Go to...
www.recallthecongress.com

For God's sake, listen to me people! I've been screaming at the top of my lungs about this for months and nobody pursues it. You people are sitting around suffering for no reason!

6. Sorry, but no Republicans will sign that contract and I doubt any
Democrats will either.

And recalling anyone in Congress based on state law is most certainly unconstitutional based on rulings that were made stating that state term limit laws cannot apply to members of the US Congress.

7. We at least have to try different things...
I wish more people around here would be open to new ideas.

11. I'll rephrase my point as to appear not so jadded
If people want to try this tactic, please do. Maybe it will be an inverse Contract on America. I would be surprised if candidates sign it but it's worth a try.

I am never above saying I may be wrong on a point. Hell, I met Dean in October 2002 at an event and when I heard he was running for prez I thought who's this guy kidding?

5. NEVER.

I don't think the democrats would impeach if they had a fifty vote margin now. Most of them still don't see it, imo. The majority of them still think what is happening to our once great nation is normal, the product of the free market of ideas.

It isn't. The saddest part is that they still don't get it.

Robertson is buying a pig in a poke and he will slide through.

Anyone who can't smell theofascism all over him is blind and won't be getting their sight back anytime soon, if ever. If the lids aren't open after what has gone down the last 5 years, they are superglued shut.

I believe we are just barely starting our way into hell. The right is breeding/training much worse down on the farm. Kids raised with their daddy reading Limbaugh to them at the breakfast table. Propganda on top of propaganda.

We haven't gotten close to the bottom barrel.

9. That attitude isn't going to help anything...
I can't believe how negative people around here have been lately. I mean, look at all the good that's happened lately. Katrina hurt Bush really bad. Sheehan has become famous and has helped the anti-war movement. Fitzgerald is going to be returning the results of an investigation very soon. Three resolutions of inquiries in the House International Relations Committee failed by only ONE vote and one Republican spoke out. That's the closest we've come so far to getting a Congressional investigation going. Maurice Hinchey said it isn't over yet. Conyers and other Dems have been holding hearings on Iraq, Plame, etc. They're unofficial hearings but they have us going in the right direction. So much good has happened and yet some people around here still find stuff to complain about. My question is, what will satisfy you?
