I wonder if the Right is going to be forced to look at Global Warming

Now that we have two back to back cat 5 hurricanes in the Gulf, both of which are going to hit the US and both of which are going to have cost this country a bloody fortune?

Rita looks like she is going to be as big as Katrina. How can you ignore two of the largest storms in this hemisphere EVER and they are only three weeks apart?

I brought this up to my hopeless republican husband and all he said was "well,it's supposed to be a strong hurricane cycle. Doesn't mean global warming had anything to do with it."

I said "then PLEASE EXPLAIN the melting arctic ice!!!!!"
