So Bush Will Emerge From NorthCom's Bunker Today And.....
declare that the U.S. has been under attack from terrorists that manipulate the weather. He will say that Katrina and Rita were manipulated storms sent to wreak havoc in the U.S. and cause economic collapse. He will say that this is why we have to continue fighting the 'war on terror'. RW talk show hosts and other Repug apologists will plaster the airwaves and cause a new rally around Bush. They will say that Bush knew of this threat for a long time and was shielding Americans from the truth - because the implications are that this technology would dwarf Pearl Harbor, Hiroshima and 911. He kept this secret from us because he felt that it would have caused mass panic in the U.S. if he told us about this sooner without some sort of proof that Katrina and Rita have now brought us. But now after Americans have seen the power of this new technology used against us he feels that Americans will now be accepting of his urgings to continue to fight the 'war on terror'.

Bush's ratings go up overnight to a whopping 90% while he once again unites people of all political pursuasions to escalate the 'war on terror'. Bush is now hailed as the bestest president ever.

Yes - he still a pathological liar folks.

Have a successful march in D.C. this weekend. Let's end this unjust war. Let's bring our military home. Let's end this current national nightmare we call the 'Bush Administration'.

3. So which puny country will we try to romp as a result?
Remember it has to be a completely defenseless nation so that for the couple of weeks CNN and other embedded networks can stage some super-glory light-and-magic footage; and it has to have some weirdo head-of-state whom we could accuse of being the next Hitler with enough weaponry to fry the world 3 times over. We'll need to stage the finding of a laptop in his/her palace with the Weather Channel Desktop app installed (military weapons experts will pontificate on how this is an extremely clever tool, in the right hands, for bringing forth hurricanes, tsunamis, etc.).

4. Why NorthCom bunker?
He can't go to Crawford - it would look like he's on vacation (again) - ditto if he went to Camp David

but he has to look like he's concerned about Rita -- Can't stay in DC - Cindy is there

so that leaves a hidey-hole in NorthCom....

Yesterday he canceled his trip to San Antonio - the excuse: he didn't want to disrupt storm preparations.

:WTF: didn't he think of that BEFORE making plans to visit San Antonio? I suspect the real reason to cancel at the last minute is because rescue workers had been relocated -- therefore there's no one around for a photo op. Of course the bushies could have just grabbed some kool-aid drinkers, dressed them up as rescue workers - just like they do for other photo ops
