Brokered Convention Looms. Possibility of top three candidates
having inadequate delegates is starting to have favorable odds.

If the current projections hold, the Pubs will have their way.

It is their intent that we end up with a "weak" candidate. Their approach appears in the direction of attacking our front runners until we end up with the "Compromise" Nominee.

And so, if there is a situation of a brokered deal, what would be the Pubs worst nightmare?

still laughing? ...no.
So who better than Gore? Gore Kerry (or Dean) would be electable.

7. Al Gore. There is no doubt that a substantial majority of voters would
love to have a do-over right now. The only real negative is his supposed wooden personality, but nobody would care about that now. A lot of voters voted for the chimp because they thought they would rather have a beer with him than with Gore, but they know now that doesn't mean a thing.

13. Gore. Agreed.
Gore has consistently matched up better all last year against Bush than any other democrat. Gore is the anti-Bush.

8. Piffle. We're just at the beginning.
A few other Democratic Americans have to have their say.

Kerry has to maintain his lead and that ain't necessarily easy, even with the media anointing.

12. Every four years...
people start to talk about a brokered convention....

And every four years it never happens...

After next week, we will have two (maybe three) candidates....

By the end of Feb... we will have one.....

The superdelegates will shift their support as they are released by the losing candidates....

and wala....we have a nominee.....

simple!

Don't fret....

14. Oh my!
Only 50 delegates decided and you talk like this. Please! A brokered convention would only occur after many ballots which is not likely. A second or third ballot would be needed. I don't think it will happen.
