3. What the hell's wrong with Feingold?!
Every time I think he might be shaping up as a presidential contender, he pulls something boneheaded like this.

6. My 2 cents
:puke: Max Baucus of Montana, Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico, Robert Byrd of West Virginia, Kent Conrad of North Dakota, Christopher Dodd of Connecticut, Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Tim Johnson of South Dakota, Herb Kohl of Wisconsin, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, Carl Levin of Michigan, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Bill Nelson of Florida, Mark Pryor of Arkansas and Ken Salazar of Colorado.

In the case of Senator Byrd, it is a polite :puke:

Predictions for the 10 unannounced:

Yes: Daniel Akaka of Hawaii, Tom Carper of Delaware, Daniel Inouye of Hawaii.

No: Maria Cantwell of Washington, Tom Harkin of Iowa, Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, Patty Murray of Washington, Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, Paul Sarbanes of Maryland and Ron Wyden of Oregon.

Any bets?

7. Cantwell
Her approval numbers aren't up to par and she's due for re-election in '06. Washington narrowly had a GOP Governor after the last election.

Lincoln is a red-state Democrat, and pretty moderate from what I understand.

And I'm not positive about the two gentlemen from Hawaii.

8. Pusyy-ass spineless dems - why do they enable *?
Feingold?! They all sell-out eventually. Bunch of beltway whores, pimping themselves when politically convenient.

12. I'll be surprised if Lincoln (AR) doesn't vote for Roberts
I think she's voted with the Repubs about 60% of the time. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

13. Really good move on Bayh's part.....
Not that I am a supporter...

Just noting it is a great strategic move on his part...

Roberts is from Indiana, a very conservative state....

14. Bayh has been positionning himself since the beginning of the year
He even voted against Rice, against CAFTA, against the gun liability bill, ...

Only important votes I really disagree with are the Bankruptcy Act and the Energy Bill.

I dont know if he is being normal for him or political positionning, bt compared to many in the Senate, his 05 vote record is not that bad (right in the middle, I would say).
