The ass-bag continues,

"They are going to get out of there in 12-18 months. Our sacrifice has been tremendous, we can't just stay there."

Unbelieveable. The right seems to be turning against continued occupation for more than another 12-18 months. Whatever happened to "stay the course?"

21. Clark actually got that dittohead to agree
on pretty much everything. Engage Syria and Iran, work the diplomatic issues. First O'Lielly disagreed on Iran, Clark says: Have you been to Iran Bill?. I have, there are elements there that want to talk..."

After the Iraq issue was settled they talked about the recent ruling releasing more pictures from abu ghraib. Clark saying that there are charges that the chain of command condoned this abuse and it must be investigated. O'lielly taking the incredible position that in other conflicts the chain of command condoned torture and Clark should realize this is war or something like that. :puke:

Clark didn't give an inch, he was great.

24. Clark started out by saying that Iraq is like a 3 legged stool
There's the military side, the political side, and the diplomatic side. He said that the Bush Administration has completed neglected the diplomatic side, thus putting too much pressure on the other two legs of the stool. He stated that Bush should be talking to both Syria and Iran, because those countries could help calm the internal struggle going on in Iraq between Sunnis and Shiites. O'Reilly grudingly, point-by-point, had to finally admit that Clark was absolutely right. It was painful to watch the excrement that O'Reilly is slowly giving ground and admitting surrender.

Then O'Reilly asked Clark about the Abu Ghraib photos and whether they should be released. Clark stated that the U.S. military should not be torturing prisioners and that is what puts U.S. troops in danger, not the release of photos. Clark wanted the photos to be released and also wanted a thorough investigation up the chain of command. O'Reilly said that the US military has tortured the enemy in every war and that this is just reality. Clark vehemently disagreed and got in the last word. It was an other O'Reilly capitulation and surrender to the General.

In sum, O'Reilly was defeated on both his points, Check Mate!

20. I gotto get the transcript on this one!
O'lielly doesn't know doo-doo squat! Hell, HE IS doo-doo squat!

Wes asked O'lielly if he had been to Iran and talked to the leadership there. O'Lielly...."well I've been close to there..."
LOL!

Wes said, well I've been there, and several Iranians wanted to talk to me.

LOL!

Wes said...yes, I want to see those Abhu Grayh(spel?) pictures.
O'lielly seemed perturbed about that...talking about We've always used Torture! Wes said not in the Army that I served for 34 years. O'lielly....But, but, but what about the Calley massacres, WWII, etc...? Wes-Calley was court martialled. The army has never condoned beating up people and torturing them.

36. my dog knew enough to go out before he came on !!
welsh terriers have a sense about these things ... it's kind of hard to explain ... as for me, i really just couldn't handle watching anything on Faux ... just couldn't do it ...

so i wasn't going to ... here i was DU'ing away when my pup gave me "the look" ...

OK ... c'mon ... we'll go out ... man, it's scary out there sometimes ... we've been surrounded by coyotes the last few nights ... it's all woods around my house ... you could hear them yipping and howling all over the place ... the pup was a little freaked out which means she was all business ... outside and back in in under a minute ...

so, i decided to take a teensy weensy quick peek at Faux just in case ... and Clark was on ... Clark did an excellent job and i appreciated his call to release the photos ... and he didn't take any shit from that BO character either ...

just one question though ... is there anything special i need to do to "clean out my TV" after viewing something on Faux ?? i cleaned the outside with a mixture of Raid and Windex but is there some way to flush the circuits on the inside ??

38. It is an amazing imbalance of all things reasonable ...
when idiot O'Reilly is allowed in the same room and allowed to say Jack Shit to General Clark. Fox is such an unabashed propaganda outlet, I wonder if liberals should even go on there. They are simply trying to maintain a veneer of credibility to further the agenda of the corporate elite.

I suppose Clark knows we have to take the battle to the heathens' nest, but JH Christ, Fox is so below even dignifying with the General's appearance.

I like Wes Clark, and I am confident he will make a great Defense Secretary in the upcoming Gore administration (2009-2016). Just like I'm sure John Kerry will make a great Secretary of State. Just like I'm sure Barbara Boxer will make a great Vice President. But all of that will be for Al to decide ...

This morning she was talking up the General's appearance on O'Reilly last night...She starts with "I'm not the only one that every time I see him, I'm like "why can't he be President, why?"

It's at the end of the first hour which can be heard here:
