Method to this madness: Stacking the Court.
I see these SCOTUS appointments as a get out of jail free card for *.

He has known for quite some time that he would have to find a chair when the music stops. Roberts and Maier's are those chairs.

Who else would stop this murderer from being impeached? Although Bush v. Gore was bad, letting * off the hook for the last 5 years is beyond anything SCOTUS has ever done.

Therefore, stacking the court with raving sycophants may be the only way for * to avoid jail time.

Am I wrong?

2. Mangled Cliche Alert!
That should be "packing the court" not "stacking."

4. it goes well beyond that . . . Roberts and Miers are permanent . . .
BushCo seats on the court . . . their votes will be dictated by the likes of Cheney, Kristol, and Wolfowitz for the next quarter century or more . . .

5. The House impeaches and the Senate convicts
The only role of the judiciary is that the Chief Justice presides over the trial in the Senate.

And the only punishment for one convicted is removal from office and the inablity to ever hold any public office again.

6. They are brilliant when making themselves rich or avoiding jail.
Any thing else forget, not on their radar screen.
