Which is where it was last night at midnight mountain time....
I'm just curious what this reflects? Absentee ballots? Very small townships? Just, in this day and age, it would seem that it wouldn't take more than 12 hours to have final results, even if preliminary...

1. do you think there is a recount in process?
Edwards and Clark were so very close. That's the only thing I can come up with at this time. Kerry and Dean were definitely 1 and 2.

2. Since neither will get delegates until they reach 15%, I can't imagine
that a recount would be ordered on their accounts.

5. I doubt there is any need to go farther.
The story is over--the Jo-mentum has moved on to Missouri and SC and elsewhere.

Maybe someday they'll issue a news release that Edwards really did win third place by two votes and a paper clip, but most likely when the number of remaining votes would clearly make no difference to the final tally for delegates the counting just shut down and everyone went out for drinks.

Sometimes it isn't a conspiracy, just realism. The identity of the actual third place winner is of interests to election wonks like me but the rest of the world could care less.

I'm just happy Clark showed up on the tote board at all. Considering how he has been relegated to the outer darkness by the media it is little less than a miracle that he even got a mention.
