Question to any lurking freeps
Do you prescribe to the "If we don't fight them over there we'll have to fight them over here" theory? If so I have a few things I'd like to say to you.

First off, I'd like to ask you--fight who? Who the fuck are you actually referring to when you say "them"? Do you mean them as in an army? If so, what army, and how the fuck is an army suppose to get over here to fight us here anyway? What, by ships? Then how the fuck are they suppose to get through our Navy? Shit, just one of our Navy's battle carrier groups is enough to hand most Navies in the world their asses. And we currently have what--thirteen or fourteen battle carrier groups? In other words, ain't no way in fucking hell any army is going to get here via ocean going ships to fight here in our country. And its the same story if you try it by air.

So then with the axiom above, I am going to assume when you say them you must mean individual terrorists, or small groups of terrorists. Now with that being the case, I have a few other questions for you.

How the fuck does fighting them over there prevent any would be terrorist from coming over here and perpetrating his terrorists plot? Also, how does our fighting and killing people and destroying their cities not foment hatred towards us and cultivate more and more and more individuals hell-bent on getting some pay-back against us?

Lastly I'd like to ask you dumbass freeps. How welcome Vs. hated are you now in the world? How comfortable do you feel now about traveling abroad and being respected Vs. being despised and made to pay higher costs for things -- solely because you're an American? How much safer are you now as an American Vs. in danger of being assaulted when traveling abroad because you're an American? How much safer is America now Vs. before the dumbass chimp you put into the White House?

------

I'd like to apologize to any of my DU brothers and sisters who might not appreciate any of my strong language. Its just that any ounce of respect I might of had for these fucking Republicans is certainly gone -- and all I have now is nothing but utter contempt for every fucking dumbass Republican, to include two members of my own family.

2. Since they won't pony up, I'll take a stab...(Coast to Coast AM)
Just last night, I was listening to George Nori (sp?)- he's the guy who replaced Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM a very popular 10pm-1am radio show on AM. Anyway, the show is usually about ghosts, bigfoot, ufo's and other things of a similar nature. Anyway, last night I'm listening to his guest on the show. The guy is talking about something or other (I only half listen to it- it's as guilty a pleasure as cheesecake and equally jejune) and he starts talking about how we "need to get the right laws and acts passed". I think he mentioned The Smith Act and some other one- I really wasn't listening too closely until...

"Since every mosque in the US is being funded by Jihadists in Saudi Arabia, we need to do what we did in WW II and put all the muslims in internment camps." (paraphrased, of course, but dead on- he literally said it)

I'm convinced when they say them they mean all muslims in the US. Believe it!

4. not sure I ever had any respect for them, but most certainly do not now.
it is almost beyond comprehension to me that these people manage to walk around without keepers--because clearly they do not function in any kind of real world.

as a friend said one day about some remark or other I made, "see, there you go, being rational again."

6. Do Freepers really feel safer with George Bush and a spy in the WH?
National Security? They couldn't even keep a spy out of the White House. They don't know who is coming across our Mexican and Canadian borders. They allow more and more H1-B visas for guest workers from other countries. So how are they keeping terrorists out of the US?

9. After hearing all the lies
and seeing how corrupt GW and the repukes are. Theres a good reason I call Bush Whackers and the rest sheepikins. Instead of having an actual thought process, sheepicans rely on Fox news and Rush ''I can do drugs you can't'' Limbaugh to do their thinking for them. Thats the real danger in america, stop asking questions of our elected public employees and agree with them as long as they tell us that we can work hard and get rich speeches.

BTW, these are the same people that think freedom of choice means let the church tell me how to think. Lets face it, we are dealing with a bunch of jealous, racist elitists that don't see the real world. These are the same people that pay $300 for a pair of shoes that cost less then $10 to make, using child and slave labor.

These are also the same people that shop at Wal-Mart and have I support the troops stickers plastered all over their vehicles. The last time I checked China, the biggest supplier of Wal-Mart goods backs such free countries like North Korea, Vietnam and other commie and terrorists countries. They don't get that for every dollar they give to Wal-Mart 3/4 of it ends up in red Chinas coffers.

With that kind of non-thinking you wonder why they support people like GW, Reagan and Delay.

10. The right wingers can't explain the Flypaper Theory even on their sites.
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 10:18 AM by The Night Owl
The right wingers can't explain the Flypaper Theory even on their own sites, so don't expect them to explain it here. No one can explain the Flypaper Theory, including the people who devised it, because it is pure horseshit.

A mere 19 men brought down the WTC and yet The Chimp expects us to believe that he has Al Qaeda so pinned down in Iraq that they can't spare a handful of terrorists do damage on American soil.

The fact that Bush expects the American people to believe a theory as idiotic as the Flypaper Theory speaks volumes about what Bush really thinks of the American people.

12. well those iraqi women and children are really scary people...
I bet Iranian women and children are every bit as scary and they should be killed as well. We would not want them storming through our streets killing our pets and stuff... how can you argue logic with the illogical?
