Many on this board agree that the scrub has been looking pretty bad lately. His insane references, such as this thread details, are quite possibly further evidence of a deep psychosis.

fatalism. This is scary. All bad leaders suddenly come to the realization that nothing is working, all the assassins (imaginary or real) are at the gates, all friends have deserted them, and everything they do can't change a thing. This is a scary time folks, one of two things happens: either they roll over and become even more ineffectual leaders (if that is possible with moron*) or they do the "going down in a blaze of glory" thing. If he's talking about going into the eternal light, I would bet on the latter.
