John Gibson calls Iraq / War On Terra "Bush's 'A' Game"...LMAO!
Bush Should Stick to His 'A' Game
Thursday, October 06, 2005
By John Gibson

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,171498,00.html

As of now, Bush has been kicked around so much he and his team have finally figured out it's time to go back to their "A" game. Bush's "A" game is War on Terror, Iraq, etc. So out of the blue Thursday morning, he's giving a War on Terror speech. Why? Because it's what he's good at and it's time to go back to your strengths.

This is good. The president needs to pay attention to Katrina and Rita rebuilding. But the big bet of his administration was and is Iraq. It's where he is comfortable in his rhetoric — and good. We should be paying attention to what's going on there.

We sent a lot of young Americans there to do a job. The president focused again on what they're doing will focus the attention of a lot of other Americans on that job.

Bush shouldn't run from it, he should engage it every day. For better or worse, Iraq is his legacy and he has an enormous interest in making sure it turns out well and the country supports him.

2. "That's what he's good at"?!?!?! WTF?!?!
Hey, Gibson. Repeating a lie often enough that it becomes the truth doesn't work anymore:

But the American people are wising up.

The latest Gallup/CNN/USA Today poll tells us that only 32 percent of those approve of Bush's handling of the war. A remarkable 59 percent now say that the invasion a mistake. And an even more remarkable 63 percent say they want to see some or all U.S. troops withdrawn.

5. So * essentially has the American public on "ignore"?
It was funny during his speech today (I only could stomach a small portion)...much of what he was saying about the terra-ists, I screamed, "and what about YOU?"

I suspect that turning his back on the AMERICANS affected by these horrible disasters might be a disaster unto itself.

Not to mention the "no bid contracts"...
Not to mention the corruption in his own administration...
Not to mention the poopey economy...
Not to mention the looming bankruptcy bill which will further screw those most impacted...
Not to mention the energy crisis and the windfall profits by the oil companies...
Not to mention he wants to still give the wealthiest people further tax breaks...
Not to mention the ongoing cronyism, rampant in this administration.
Not to mention how this cronyism has left us unprotected and unprepared to handle whatever the job duties require...

I am appalled and disgusted.

8. He just really highlights a huge part of the problem: It's all a GAME
to them.

A PR game. Go to your strength.

It is his legacy.

Yea, that's what it is all about: *'s legacy.

Never mind the disillusionment of the world due to the lies of war, never mind global warming, never mind Katrina, never mind cronyism, never mind anything but his majesty's legacy.

11. Pol Pot was good at killing too...that was his "A" game
I mean, sheesh, a kleptomaniac is good at stealing too. A rapist is good at raping. A rat is good when it is a skanky rat... A pathological, lying AWOL pussy chickenhawk is really good as a pathological, lying AWOL pussy chickenhawk.

Nice comparison, Gibson.

lower than the latest 37%! Even my RW parents are fading on the "stay the course" option.
