If Dean supporters behave like they do on this board

I want no part of a Dean campaign or presidency. I will not oppose him, but now when people ask me who Dean is, I'll say "Who? Never heard of him".

If they ask if I support Dean, I'll say, "No, but I don't oppose him either".

The only way I would vote for Dean would be by default.

If anyone retaliates by tracing my IP and sending nasty email to my webmaster, that would be the dumbest choice you could ever make, and you will sorely regret it, I promise.

5. Like it or not, the actions of supporters reflect on their candidates.

It's not entirely rational, but it's human, and we should all keep it in mind when tempted to attack.

All a Republican operative would have to do is mimic being a rabid supporter of one of our candidates in order to stir up anger among some of the core activists that use DU. But that's not even the point. No candidate has control over which assholes choose to back him or her. Having said that I would hope that the sane and balanced supporters of all the candidates will begin speaking out more when they see someone acting like a jerk in their candidates name.
