Unless you ask a Skulll and Bones member from the class before the person you're wondering about, it's hard to find out who was considered and rejected.

I imagine S&K is not that big of a deal, but the idea that, if Kerry is nominated, he and * share the same secrets and neither of them are telling the voters about them, it just raises unnecessary questions of them both.
