The reason the GOP is in trouble is because
they are now having to rely on GWB as their leader--a job he was never cut out for and was never intended to have. He is the figurehead, the puppet. The problem is that all the puppet masters are wrapped up in legal trouble and there is no one else to be the ventriloquist.

Their policies all fail in the medium term. At some point the reality of that catches up to their one true competence, that of conning the stupid (aka 'faith').

12. In the past, they blamed the Dems for all the problems in this
country. So what did they do? They effectively silenced and/or eliminated the opposition. The problem is--they were so arrogant that they did not realize they would then have to be accountable for their screw-ups. In that respect I have to give the Dem leadership credit. They gave enough rope and the Pukes are turning blue!
