20. Snide remarks about other people's favorite
doesn't build up your guy, or make his fans like him less. It only reflects poorly on those who post such negatives in a positive thread.

I don't usually engage in snark but just for you I made an exception for that cutesy remark.

Edited to add:
On second thought, why is it you have saved that particular picture? Surely it's not because .... uhhhhh,

I think I'll keep that thought unwritten...

50. yes, It is dangerous to make assumptions ....
just because someone has "guy" in their pseudonym doesn't always imply gender. Just as "news" doesn't always imply 'relating facts and observations'.

Sometimes it's just a smokescreen for less.... or more.

I have to give Faux some credit for at least having the balls to allow someone on who strongly expresses dissenting opinions. I despise Faux, but I almost despise CNN more because they pretend to be more "mainstream" and independent while actually carrying water for Bushco just as much as anyone else.

I will give them credit for pretty good Katrina coverage though.:hi:

Crunchy, most of us don't think of generals, even one-stars (as in that photo) as YOUNG officers.

Clark would have been about 45 when that was taken.

And another one of my favorites of our General with another well known Dem.

69. I'm sort of partial to this one.
Mostly because that's ME on the left. Yup, I met him. He's even better-looking in person.

95. Nice....
So many great pics of the General, it really is hard to choose....

Here's a few I quite like:

Gen Clark with my Godson Simon. This was taken by the Kerry photog at a Kerry event last fall. Both my little niece and nephew, who got to meet the General that morning, are totally enamoured of him. Hey, I trust their judgment. If he's good enough for them, he's good enough for me. :)

I like how intensely he's listening to my niece here:

This one just brings back really nice memories of a really nice fundraiser at Ron Bleckner's in the Hamptons (formerly Truman Capote's summer retreat) which Tom Daschle and Daivd Brock also attended (Gotta love the shirt):

And I'm kind of partial to this one because I do love the way Wes and Gert are together:
