Holy shit, did Olbermann just accuse the Bush regime of terrorism?
He was talking about how many (all?) of the threat elevations correspond to bad news for the right wing, and ended by saying something like, "Is it the threat of terrorism, or the terror of threats?"

Esp. if Asa was on there. Now that he's quit working for Homeland Security Dept. he's vying for governor of Arkansas. (Which, oddly enough, he announced his bid for the Governorship with a kick off party in Washington DC...??? HUH? Idiot.)

I'd check my brakeline before driving home tonight!!! Good for him, a talk show host with cajones. And all he's doing is telling the absolute truth. Last weekend's terrorfest was nothing but bullshit, and Bloomberg was in on the deception.

I tend to think of KO as more than a talk show host. Whatever label one gives him, it is damn nice to see someone not spouting the Bush Bullshit line for a change and have the cajones to report on alot of the things the rest of us see going on. Great Job by KO as always.

I have written in the past, but he has really been on the ball lately!

I wonder if the rumors about him having "health problems" are true. I hope not, but it could be one reason why he has begun to be so aggressive! He's not getting much backlash, and that too is AMAZING!!

29. To clarify: Keith has a mild case of celiac disease
which means he can't eat gluten. And at the end of July he had a tumor removed from his mouth that turned out, very luckily, to be benign...and which finally persuaded him to quit smoking.

But I would not blame his recent frequent absences on that. They're more easily explained (this past few months, anyway) by his passion for baseball. I was kind of amused to read that at least one person here was afraid he'd been fired after his statement last Thursday on the subway threat because he didn't show up Friday. Nonsense...he was at the Yankees game. :-)

I put this website into "my favorites" because you can always go back and review the very interesting subjects you want.

Keith has simmered under the radar for some time now, occasionally doing a BIG POP, then back down again. However, it seems that he has actually begun to really start to boil full time!!

Thank you sooooooo much Keith! You have given voice to so many important subjects and made sure that many of them don't fall by the way side. You have gone where far too many other so called "media" have simply played the Idiot's Game!

I was the original poster on Monday that gave everyone a heads up on tonight's show knowing he was going to link terror alerts to bad news for the White House. Ironically, I'm the one that forgot. I'm on the west coast...do you know when it is repeated? If I have to stay up all night...I'm catchin' it.

asked Asa perfectly appropriate and neutrally worded questions and Asa's responses sounded like an ass-kisser trying to cover up for the boss. The segment actually came off with more impact than it would have had if Asa hadn't been there.

I've waited a LONG time for ANYONE in the media to call out these bastards on their manipulation of the public with
conveniently-timed terror alerts. Why no one else has even broached the subject is the same phenomenon as to why so few
in the MSM (mainstream media) have challenged ANY of Bush's outlandish assumptions and reckless actions, a.k.a. the IRAQ FOLLY.

That has fed the gross ignorance of a public, perhaps 30-40% of whom still believe that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9-11 attacks.
Had the MSM not bestowed such credibility on the fraudulent Bush Administration by unquestioning acceptance of whatever poured forth from
the 'double-secret-background' mouths of Rove, Libby, or their underlings, we would have a better-informed public and might not be in the mess we are in now.
But here we are, and the public is finally catching on, and brave journalists such as yourself have stepped forward from the chorus line of
administration cheerleaders and are ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. I don't expect journalists to parrot the views of the left, but I
expect them to DO THEIR DAMNED JOBS and ASK, INVESTIGATE and INFORM the public on all possibilities, all sides of an issue and be
skeptical about what is as plain as the nose on their face.

You are one of a VERY, VERY few broadcast journalists that is NOT part of the White House echo chamber. You are a hero to many of
us who have been depressed and dismayed for so long by a media that will give weeks of air time to the ranting Swift Boat Veterans but
2 or 3 days of dismissive coverage to those contesting Bush's military credentials. Clearly, you have not been sipping the Kool Aid that so
many of your peers seem to gulp so willingly.

Thank you for doing that segment. Thank you for representing so many of us who want to hear our viewpoints and concerns addressed, and who want
those put out there in the public.
