I'm thinking they probably won't publish this, my stab at an LTTE in response his total banality:

Reading your article, I could not help but think that Conservatives are just beyond reproach. We're just the best!

We never do anything like preach the gospel on the dangers of drug abuse on 600 stations, nationwide, while getting so high on opiates that we actually lose our hearing! We'd never do anything like that!

My gosh, I'll sure we'll all be turning a blind eye to the upcoming national-security indictments in both the Whitehouse and the Office of the Vice President- now that I've read your article! My focus is now firmly where it should be - on what a winner Meirs is! Why, I've already forgotten about New Orleans!

Your article really reminded me what a failure that Bill Clinton is, too! You know, that guy sure isn't smarter than Bush. Less competent, too!

Having that surplus sure was a bummer! Carrying 2 Trillion in debt to the Chinese is way cooler! I'm sure they'll never call it in when it's strategically opportune to do so! I'm a Conservative, so I faith that they wont!

The way you coupled horror of a late term abortion and equal protection under the law for homosexuals in the same sentence was really clever, and classy! I have SO much to learn from you - I think I'll run right out and buy one of your books!

I just know that my 2 year old nephew will cotton to the edict that gay people are to be treated as less than human. Conservatives are smart - we know 'they' can't be trusted :)

Man - that idea's almost as neat as your argument that network ratings are down not due to a massive segmentation in the market, but rather the ideological triumph of Conservatism...I almost mis-read the situation! But, thanks to your brilliantly written piece, I now know better!

Oh, and the way you keep calling a guy with a piece of Vietcong shrapnel currently lodged in one of his bones....a traitor! Hilarious - how funny! You must have picked up that sense of humor while under fire, right? I can always tell!

What unit did you serve in? I just KNOW it was one rife with commendations for valour - I mean, as a Veteran of a Foreign War you'd HAVE to know a lot about courage!

I didn't realize what a patriot you are, Mr. Limbaugh! Thank goodness we have you to let us know the difference between right and wrong!

You...you are really a talent to be admired! God Bless the United States of America...and especially Rush Limbaugh!

AMERICA RULES! You're right! Foreign laws are stupid! We don't need 'em!

Wherever it is they keep the Magna Charta - well, I think we should JDAM the building in to a fine powder! That goes for wherever it is they keep the Code of Hammurabi, the Civil des Français, and any other foreign law! Our laws are the only laws that make sense to thinking people!

Thank you, Mr. Limbaugh! Thank YOU SO MUCH...FOR JUST BEING YOU! WE LOVE YOU!!!

1. Excellent - mockery works against this kind of jerk
I might have ended it with:

"MegaDildoes Rush"

2. Listening to this guy used to make me so friggin' angy...then I realized..

...you can just agree with what he's saying. "Yeah, Rush - you're totally on the mark! There's no thinking like your kind of thinking..." It makes the fallacy in his rhetoric completely obvious...diffuses the whole lie...

3. You might like to retract one statement.
They keep the Magna Carta in the same room as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution: the US Archives in Washington DC. I hope you don't want to JDAM that. (Technically it is a 1297 copy).

"In 1957 the American Bar Association acknowledged the debt American law and constitutionalism had to Magna Carta by erecting a monument at Runnymede."

5. What? You must be joking.

I will, under no circumstances, retract that statement.

Limbaugh's barely simean point was that foreign law has no value.

I am well aware that there is a copy of the Magna under the Capitol Dome. I've read it in person. I'm pointing out that OUR laws have foreign roots, by mocking Limbaugh.

Were we to follow his train of thought, we'd be bombing our own legislature, which is no surprise to me.

Limbaugh is vested to the tune of about $25 million a year in the idea of playing on demagoguery and the denigration of our hard-won freedoms for his coterie's short-term political advantage, and more importantly, for profit. You know of whom I speak; Energy, Pharma, MediaCos, and of course, Aerospace and Defense Contractors.

The kind of corporations that don't even attempt to have souls; unless they have a particularly convincing PR firm, then they'll try to fake it...

I'm pretty sure that mocking his particular brand of bullshit is protected by the very laws he seeks to undermine (like the 1st amendment, for instance) for nothing more than immediate advantage.

As an AMERICAN, it pisses me off.

If somebody wants to arrest me for saying that, fine. I'll genuinely enjoy publicly humiliating them in court. I have no doubt Franken did.

I'm thinking you're representing the 'spineless' liberals here.

7. Right on...no hard feelings...

I'm just saying; the very idea that we 'need to watch what we say' is anathema to me, as a Patriot.

4. Scathing and right on.
Rush L IS a big fat idiot... not sure that he reads or discerns sarcasm and mockery. But it made ME feel better just reading it!

8. LOVE your signature file...very nicely put....
"Brownie is to Katrina what Paul Bremer is to peace in Iraq, what George Tenet is to slam-dunk intelligence, what Paul Wolfowitz is to parades paved with flowers in Baghdad, what Dick Cheney is to visionary energy policy, what Donald Rumsfeld is to basic war planning, what Tom DeLay is to ethics and what George Bush is to 'Mission Accomplished' and 'Wanted Dead or Alive'... Kerry

Strange - I've not heard that on the MSM news as a quote. Could it be that there's about to be something of a hard fallout amongst journalists?

Thinking is my hobby, too.

13. Obviously this is a scared man.
He is so full of hate and is spewing all over the place.

What else can a druggie do while he watches his heroes fall, one after another.

He has reached a new low. He is such a waste of air.
