2. Well, the one thing I learned this morning is that this trial...
does not have the media appeal that I'm sure most were hoping to get.

I guess it makes sense. Who would want to watch a trial that you couldn't understand, where you already know the outcome, and the evidence is already known? It just doesn't make for great television.

Now, I'm sure the media will do it's best to promote this circus, but I don't think it will be as bad as many thought.

the trial resumes exactly one month after the grand jury expires so... unless there is an extension, there will certainly be more focus on Plamegate and (hopefully) indictments. particularly if the criminal indictments are on a much wider scope than perjury or obstruction of justice, as some are speculating.

this is GOOD. CNN has just spent the first 15 minutes at the top of the hour discussing the Saddam trial, which shows their intention is for blanket coverage of that distraction.

ha ha ha- we have a more than a month to go for the MSM to chew on Plamegate.
