she tosses her head around as she talks like a Valley girl. She is very unnatural in front of the camera, her voice is a little grating, and her reports have no real substance or objectivity. The only reason I can think that she is on TV is because of her vacuousness (if that is a word) and her boot-licking.

Another Sirius personality, Bill Press, likes to make fun of Rita Cosby for her voice as well, instead of concentrating on the crap she reports. However, considering that Mr. Press has Ms. Samuels as a colleague on his largest broadcasting entity (Mr. Press is only on four terrestrial stations at this time), I believe Mr. Press should be more mindful of what he chucks around the Sirius branded glass house.

3. rita cosby is annoying, at best.
And a real boot licker. I think her first promo/intro collages featured images of her with bush, and her with michael jackson. The idea that she would push those images of herself with those two clowns told me about all I needed to know about ms crosby.
