A cartoon version of Delay's booking
I saw this, of all places, on the Letters&Outlook page of the Houston Chronicle's editorial section for today, October 22, 2005. It is a lot more amusing and I think a good deal more reflective of Delay's true nature than his now widely publicized mug shot. Enjoy:

3. As I understand it...
The Houston Chronicle has never been DeLay's biggest fan. I've seen plenty of hostile editorials coming out of there, and lately some anti Bush stuff too.

4. You may be right,
but my impression is that The Chronicle goes with the prevailing wind which, until recently, was Vichy/BushCo. Now that the wind has changed to an apparent "Blue" Nother, there seems to me at least to be a small but significant increase in anti-Bush sentiments within its pages. In 2004 The Chronicle endorsed Bush for president, but of course that was before the exposure of the Chimp's corrupt, scandal-ridden "administration."
