There is probably a combination of intimidation and collusion between the Reich Wing powers that be and the MSM. For different outlets the tensions are different. NBC, whose parent company has some juicy contracts, has had a different set of tensions than has FAUX, which simply makes its money on being RW hacks. CBS has tried to be independant, or at least relatively so, and has been taken down a few pegs. CNN has spent a lot of resources on becoming FAUX-like, but has shaped up a little since Katrina. NPR has gradually taken a right turn, no doubt to keep what little it gets from the government. Their turn started no later than MonicaGate. So different outlets have different tensions. Some manipulation from MSM and from RW, some pure greed on the part of the MSM.

media was putting out and called them out for the lies they were. We were big fans of Scott Ritter when he came around and pretty much followed him until the war started. So far we, and more importantly, Ritter, has been nearly exactly right on his warnings and predictions.
