Fitzgerald Launches Web Site

By Dan Froomkin

Special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald has just launched his own brand-new Web site.http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/iln/osc/index.html

Could it be that he's getting ready to release some new legal documents? Like, maybe, some indictments? It's certainly not the action of an office about to fold up its tents and go home.

1. Old news............. lol..........
but I agree that this seems to be a necessary step just prior to posting a whole lot of indictments.

If he were going back to Chicago without any indictments, there is absolutely no rationale for doing it.

4. Cuts both ways.
On Friday, the grand jury terminates.

Option one: Post indictments, reduce the flood of requests for information, since they're all public. After the office rolls up it's carpet, the complete set information and documents is there, making requests for the information trivial to fill by whomever inherits the responsibility.

Option two: No indictments to be posted. After the office rolls up it's carpet, the complete set information and documents is there, making requests for the information trivial to fill by whomever inherits the responsibility.
