Greg Palast on Harriet Miers Nomination

Does anyone believe what Greg Palast said about Bush nominating Miers because she holds the pieces to hold Bush avoided going to Vietnam? To some degree I am thinking that Palast is wrong on this issue. I think Bush may have okayed nominating Miers partially due to her knowing that he did in fact dodge the draft, but I think it was less because of fear that Miers might rat him out and more about putting her in a position to keep that from coming out and keeping other things from coming out.
