Propaganda Too Blantant
The propaganda on NBC has gone too far and become too blantant. This morning the NBC Today Show had Ann Coulter of all people to come on and talk about the CIA leak investigation. I do admit that I did not watch the segment in that I did not think it was right for NBC to have Coulter on to talk about the investigation. For me that is like letting Saddam Hussein come on American TV and talk about the case against him in Iraq, or at least letting on of his close assoicates come and defend him. Coulter is a know lair and a Republican hack. There was not reason to pertend that she, as a lawyer, would at all be objective about the subject. This is the second time in a week that they have had a Republican who could be expected to push the Republican line on their show. This has got to stop.

4. Yep, the true face of NBC, the media arm of war profiteering GE.

As the robber baron corporate cabal faces the prospect of losing control, GE/NBC has ramped up the propaganda campaign. The mask is off for all and we see the ugly face of the war profiteers (personified in Coulter, in this instance).

DISGUSTING. When/if the People regain control of this country, we must do something about the control of our airwaves. We can't allow war profiteering corporations to control the information broadcast on OUR airwaves.

To have a hatemonger like Coulter spew her garbage is a disgrace. But it shows us the true face of NBC.

2. They're scraping the
bottom at this point. Last week on Hardball Melonie somebody or other shilling, Chris Matthews nailed her on false statements. In the same week, Chris Matthews announced on air that his producer had handed him RNC talking points which he and his panelists (among them David Gergen) laughingly dismissed.
Unfortunately, these are the people that appeal to joe and jane six pack. Loud lies supersede civil discourse.

3. You are assuming..
.... that folks listen to Ann Coulter and think she's not a loony tune.

I think the 30% idiot-contingent thinks she might have a point, an most of the rest of us look at how ridiculous the right wing has become.

FOX news ratings have plummeted since the election. The right wing spin machine is finding fewer and fewer folks interested in their bullshit.

And the more blatant bullshit they spew, the more their audience tunes out or laughs out loud. You can only lie to folks about things they can see and feel for themselves for so long. Their 15 minutes is about up!
