Drop Harriet & KEEP SECRETS: The real real reason they did
this. Harriet was dropped (uh "withdrew")because they don't want to release the papers it screws up their secrecy. That's why they dropped her.

Last night I kept wondering why Specter was giving her the questions she might face in the confirmation ahead of time. Today, I get it. The questions were about issues related to the torture issue, the issue of holding people indefinitely, etc. There was a real theme of Constitutional rights and current military topics in his questions.

These possible questions combined with the request for papers from both sides is why she was "withdrawn."

NO WAY HE/THEY WOULD GIVE UP THEIR SECRETS OR BE PUT IN A SITUATION WHERE THIS COULD BECOME A REAL PROBLEM FOR THEM.
