Does Tony Blair live near a sporting goods store?
If not, where does he get the balls to utter bellicose rhetoric on Iran? (My apologies to the Daily Show.) After the dreadful scandal caused by all the sexed-up intelligence on Iraqi WMD’s, you’d think he’d be just a tad bit chary about premature saber-rattling.

Nope:

“He added that Iran, suspected of having a nuclear weapons programme, could soon be considered a "real threat”

Who told him to say that? Someone must have, because he cannot possibly have the stones to come up with this one on his own. Ooohh. Iran has a nuclear weapons program. How do we know it? We just do. Trust Mr. Blair.

Does anyone else find this laughable? Mr. Blair goes around invading countries willy-nilly on the basis of sexed-up intelligence, but finds the time to take umbrage at Iran for having a “secret” weapons program and for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s recent comments about Israel. Mr. Blair actually does wipe states off the map, but has the balls to threaten war with Iran because Mahmoud Ahmadinejad endorses wiping Israel off the map, something he has no power to do.

Our party may have its problems, but at moments like this I thank God we’re not part of the UK, and not faced with the sickening choice between the Tories, the Liberals and Blair’s “Labour” Party.
