They're hoping for a REAL winger now, on SCOTUS.
Pat Buchanan on Tucker's show is talking about how they're just spoiling for a fight. Saying that the President should appoint a Janice Rogers Brown, and the Dems will fight, but that the President should just go down the list of wingers and fight and fight and fight until he gets one through.

I can't decide if I'm overjoyed at the prospect of all this mess, or if I'm appalled at the naked partisanship of it all.

All of this (possible) SCOTUS kerfuffle will just make the Admin look more incompentent, IMO.

This should be the time for ** to be looking for a nominee that is acceptable to as wide a spectrum of people as possible. Enough of this divisive shit -- I'm really tired of it.

I'm not so sure. With the wingnut alternatives out there, I would be relieved by this selection. Please wait until I get under my desk before hurling tomatoes!
