Did Tweety make a freudian slip last night

he was talking to Frum about the Miers withdrawal - and he said something to the effect of how Frum, Krystol, Krauth...(the guy on Fox) were the first ones to come out strong against her, and he referred to them as mainstream media - then he realizing he had called them mainstream - he laughed and repeated mainstream

I wasn't sure if he sincerely realized he was wrong to refer to them as mainstream and was self effacingly correcting himself

Or if he was pretending to do that - knowing full well the mainstream media IS RIGHT WING - and was trying not to bely that.

Did anyone else catch that?

3. his advocacy is mostly fueled by his man crush on Bush

and his hatred of the Clintons

It's interesting watching him covering the Plame case because he'll rip out Cheney's throat if it means helping Bush
