George's speech interrupted by protester! (Now on CNN)
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 09:16 AM by doxieone
No link of course.

Just have to wait to see what is said. The disrupter interrupted George. Shortly later you could hear clapping - presumably the protester was taken out.

10:10 a.m.

11. I'm also wondering if they are piping in Audio of applause cuts?
The camera never pans the audience?!? What's up with that? They may have only a couple dozen folks and the rest is "Memorex"? :P

10. Yes, Norfolk.
Air Force One landed at the commercial airport rather than NOB because of runway repairs.

The speech is at Chrysler Hall.

12. Caught it on BBC
Then again, I wasn't paying that much attention to the speech, except to note "Ah, he must be worried about the indictements, if he's using his "War on Terra" speech. (which most of the other US expats I know here in the Middle East really wish he would knock the hell off, because it makes our lives here that much more difficult

13. I saw it, bush winked at the applause like it was someone that shouted
in support of him. I turned it off after I realized the indictment isn't going to change one darn thing about bush. He won't be satisfied until he totally ruins our country and divides everyone. I really really hate this administration, worse one ever and not a good start for the 21st century. All smoke, mirrors and mushroom clouds. Disgusting bunch of spoiled elitist.

14. The King interrupted? What?? NOT vetting the audience anymore?
WIth half the King's men under 'the Fitz,' "prep" time obviously down... as 'perp' time is pondered instead in Oz.

18. Just Pathetic
I just heard a radio news clip of Bush's speech ...

He's going on and on again about the 'terraists gettin' weapons of mass destruction so that they can destroy Israel'.

Just pathetic. The good news is that if he has to go to that level of fearmongering rhetoric, the Bushites must be really worried and afraid.

20. Is his base going to like thinking that this was all about Israel?
Is that a big seller with them?

I'm not saying that it is all about that but is that really going to sell to NASCAR types?

19. One of these times, your boy George will have had just the....
...right (or wrong) combination of Jack Daniels and coke when that happens, and he'll start screaming at the SS to "shoot that GD summa-bitch right now!" on live TV.

That's when we win!
