1. What is fark really?

Is it a composium of reich wingers? Because, a relative of mine admitted to me that he "lives" on fark.com. He thought I would find it humorous. This is the same person who when I told him I frequented DU made a backhanded comment about DU being a bunch of psycho, dangerous freaks.

Unfortunately, I don't have much in common with my family other than our blood. Or maybe fortunately. I know I don't want to be like HIM.

2. Unfortunately, there has been some infiltration

of Freeper types on the site, and I've noticed a right bias in the admin and mods.

It's still frequently hilarious, though, and luckily the Freepers, if you watch closely, only number about a dozen, if that. They just tend to post like crazy.

Then it may not be so bad. I will have to spend some time watching posts there. I thought it was hilarious when I was directed there the other day for their photoshopped pics of the presidential seal being used for MANY many things. But I did notice an anti-liberal type of advertisement, so I had no idea what to think. Would you say there are more DUer types than Freeper types there?

5. fark isn't left or right

(yes,web sites without a political affiliation do exist!)It members pride themselves on it's political incorrectness and it is hysterically funny.There is nothing sacred.As it should be.

and yes, I know websites that aren't politically charged exist. Just curious what DUers that were familiar with fark.com thought, as I know my brother leans RIGHT in some areas, LEFT in others. Sounds like a great place for him.
