6. I only have the cable TV because it came with cable modem...
we have satellite for the TV. But I do watch Fox -- and CNN and MSNBC and CSPAN and anything that has anything to do with news/current affairs. If I'm going to praise/criticize, then I want to know for myself what's going on and not hide my head in the ideological sand.

8. it sure is hard sometimes!
O'Reilly is a tough pill to swallow. But I want to see what he's doing for myself. Same with Limbaugh -- spent a whole year once listening every day. Wouldn't do it again, but I can speak for myself about what it's like.

9. If there were a liberal version of Fox News, how would that do
in the ratings?

10. a whole network... who knows? One show? That's Olbermann
I suspect the network would trail Fox.... just as AAR is having a tough time catching on with a mass audience vs., say, Limbaugh and other rightwing bigmouths.

11. Keith Olbermann doesn't give his opinion on each show
like Bill O'Reilly does with "Tonight's Talking Points Memo."

13. CNN

Larry King is a douchebag.

I'm glad to see Brown ahead of Cooper. CNN has been giving Cooper a lot of exposure related to Katrina coverage. Brown has a laid back approach to the news that I like.

14. Rightwingers knwo exactly what they will get on Fox, so they ALL go there
If CNN were a televised version of Air America, WE would concentrate on that one channel instead of flipping between the others..

It's about dedicating your channel to ONE distinct niche market, and never wavering.

We are a fickle bunch because we can never be confortable watching any ONE station..

If CNN or MSRNC would ever be brave enough to "go liberal", they would double their viewership, and totally shut the remaining one down..
