Arrest made in fraternity assault
An MU student will appear in court after Homecoming attack.

An MU sophomore was arrested Wednesday in connection with an Oct. 15 assault in front of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity house.

Jeffrey Forkan, 20, listed in the most recent edition of the university’s Greek Directory as a member of the fraternity, was arrested at the fraternity house by Columbia police Wednesday on suspicion of third-degree assault after he gave a statement to police. He was later released on his signature to appear in court, Columbia police Sgt. Ken Hammond said.

The arrest follows an attack in front of the house at 1301 University Ave. on a Maryland man visiting a friend over Homecoming weekend.

“(Forkan) admitted that he was involved in a physical altercation with this guy,” Columbia police Officer Bryan Leibhart said.

That should be the top priority. One more Bushbot, out of the electorate!

Is this the guy who beat someone because he thought they were gay? Does anyone have a link to the orignial story?

the mayhem the Greeks pull here in Chico CA.. The most recent case was a kid killed because they got him to drink enough water he stopped his heart. Oh, and there was the guy shot between the eyes at a college zone bar a few weeks back.

Not worthy of national news really.

And their parents having to fork up a lot of cash to smooth it all over.

These scum ass bastards are the worst of a horrible Greek community in this town. Perhaps it is time to run a few effiminate looking guys past this place, effiminate looking guys who've been in martial arts for a number of years:evilgrin:

Frankly I would like to see the whole damn Greek community on this campus go, but that isn't going to happen. They bring in too much money and their alumni parents have too much pull. Really a shame too, for there really isn't one redeeming feature to the Greek community on campus.
