Have we finally reached that moment that Big Dog talked about
Two years ago in an interview, Bill Clinton outlined a series of failures of this administration. When asked by the interviewer (I believe it was Larry King) why the public hadn't turned on scrubbie? Clinton replied, "They haven't reached that moment yet. They're not ready."

Are we at that moment finally?

9. We're PAST that point, but just like attitudes about quality of American
cars or other products, changes in the reality of that (up or down) take years to filter down into overall consumer awareness (LAG TIME). I think the awareness of Bush's failures will trail by MONTHS with the overall public, whereas the population at DU was aware of Bush's failures even *before* they happened. : )

3. If we aren't...we ain't never gonna be.
Seriously. Katrina, Meirs, Libby. If all of this doesn't turn folks against Spongehead Dumbass, I fear that only a repeat of a 9/11-type disaster on his watch will.

:scared:

4. This depends almost entirely on the media
If they do their jobs, we're there. If not, we're fucked.

5. and that depends entirely on the profits. if it's profitable for them to
work for the cause of the truth, they'll do it.

7. i love the suspense. Fitz is keeping rove under watch... he can't make a
move without having the Feds monitor him. i wouldn't be surprised if his phones are all tapped. the thugs are in disarray... bushco is infighting... we're in the best position we've ever been since the thugs planned their coup.

8. Lovin' the suspense here, too. . .
The NYT says in a headline today that Bush sees no need to "clean house" following Libby's "departure." He figures, I guess -- hard to read into a chimp's mind -- that he can't afford to lose anyone who knows where the bodies are buried. And that would be ummm, everybody.
