5. Hmmm
I think we're getting close to the real number of deluded, Kool-aid drinking, Fristians who'll follow * into hell. My guess was that it was somewhere over 10% of the population. I'd hate to think it was over 20%.

I don't think there are enough uber-rich to inflate the numbers much.

6. Yeah, but...
It's great that his numbers are so low, and maybe some people who once supported him are finally figuring it out, but we're still stuck with the son-of-a-bitch and his gang of thugs for the next THREE YEARS. Even as a lame duck, he's still going to appoint a second rightwing judge to the Supreme Court which will screw us all LONG after he's out of office. If there were serious impeachment action happening today, and/or the Democrats had a spine or a pair of balls between them, I'd be agreeing with your glee at his low numbers. But given the lack of serious impeachment action I can only hope these low numbers will translate into a genuine rebuke for Republicans at the polls in the 2006 Congressional elections --- but that hasn't happened yet either. And given how Bush and Republicans rig votes these days (see the Florida & Ohio debacles) I'm not sure we can count on a fair election in 2006 or ever again.

7. Number in shrub cult has declined to 22%.
Hardline supporters are being shaken out of their delusions. My guess is a lot have been disillusioned by Katrina, Iraq and other disasters.

on television since the Fitzgerald press conference!
