my electricity just came back on here on Isla Mujeres..but it is sporatic...i just wanted to let you all know that i am OK...just could not communicate until now. i KNOW...that it was all of your good wishes that got me through this as well as i got through it. Thank you all so very much...when electricty is more stable...i will get back on again.

I stayed with the pugs next door for the first night...then when the eye came over...i went back home...decided i would rather drown than die with them...ha! Thank u all so much...i could feel your energy and your good thoughts throughout it all...thank you..thank you! I thought, at one point, that sometimes "they" say of do gooder, liberal folks like us...that we put all of our energy into caring about a bigger cause..because we are unable to care on a personal level..one on one...so we divert our energy to a safe "cause"...i thought how wrong "they" are...about a lot of things...but especially about that one thing. none of you know me personally, but when i turned to you...u all responded on a very personal level..and i could feel that caring and that support ..and i felt it ongoing during the whole ordeal...thank you so much.

they can't care about individuals has it dead backwards - we care about the big picture that affects all people because we CAN care individual people, unlike too many of the GOP.

I hope your life gets back to normal soon! I know from Iniki how much they change the day-to-day. Finding Ice was our 1st priority. I hope there is help for you there.
