Am watching Mike Wallace on the Larry King Show. Poor ol fellow seems to
be showing sign of senility. Afraid he won't be doing any more live interviews after this.

Where are today's Mike Wallace, Helen Thomas, Edward R. Morrow etc. I don't believe we have any outstanding reporters today - or I don't know who they are.

Sorta sad to see the old guard passing :(

2. Also great watching them duck some great questions about
Plamegate and WMD. Mike would like to delve into them, it appears - but the old Shillster, Mister Garlique (as he advertises on AM radio!) can't move along fast enough to get another hero worshiper phone call coming in. Very nauseating!

3. Larry obviously loves him, but, he should have known better: Tape
and edit. Set up some script and get the producer involved. This could have been a great launch for the book. Not a great call for Larry. Let's hope Mike's family gets in front of these things from now on.

4. I read earlier today in an article linked.......
at Huffingtonpost.com that Mike Wallace got into a shouting match with Dan Rather in one of the men's rooms at CBS.

Allegedly, Mike Wallace (he's starting to look like a half-dead George Hamilton with his orange tan, BTW) asked Dan Rather why he didn't resign along with his underlings at CBS after the "* National Guard Memogate" incident last year. They were both standing at the urinals, at the time.

If I had been Dan Rather, I would have simply turned toward Mike Wallace and hosed him down!
