How many DUers feel like you are living in one of those Gulag books?

I mean, after all the revelations of lies about the war, the smearing tactics of those now in power, the methods used to deny voters their rights and steal elections, the methods used to destroy the careers of those who dare to speak out against the corporate fascism and the policies that are destroying our nation, the twisting of the laws to deny our privacy and freedom, the fear and hate mongering by officials at the top, the apathy of the uninformed and the stupidity of the mis-informed, the ever-increasing gap between the haves and have-nots. It feel like we are right on page 54 of a 350 page novel that would have torn at our hearts had it been written by a Russian 50 years ago or a Shia Iraqi 20 years ago.

The only question is how far down this road are we going to go and how painful and bloody is the inevitable crackup and disintegration of their regime going to be.

I just have to think that the nuts who voted for this clan of evil people will wake up and soon. Just what more can they mess up? From Nat. Parks. to Space program they have made a mess.

what bothers me is the huge scope of this problem. Not just our nation.

I'm about ready to hope there are aliens. Maybe there's some "good" aliens and some "bad" aliens. I'm figuring, just like X-Files, that if our admin did anything with aliens...they'd do it with the "bad" aliens.

And so that's what made me think of aliens using us for cattle. Okay, no, really it was a nightmare that made me think that. We were, like, chickens. From the oldest for stew to the youngest to the not born yet, like chicken eggs. I figure that's what's up with all the pollution, heavy metals and radiation we're being exposed to in such great levels that it's making us sick. I figure it's fortification. Heavy metals native to them, toxic to us. haha Yeah, we're Wonder Bread. When I thought of that, it made me laugh. Okay, easily entertained, I know...

But hey, at this point, I'm about ready for a clearly understood, easily definable enemy. Something to actually fight, you know? Give me the ray gun, point to the bug-eyed alien, tell me who the enemy is and how to defeat it.

Tell me it's not people all around me, who look and sound just like me.
